Lord Goldsmith Back at the Bar
I am pleased to report that Lord Goldsmith QC is a barrister again.
As Attorney General, he was the formal leader of the Bar. He then requalified as a solicitor in order to become a partner at the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton.
But the rules have changed and solicitors are now allowed to take other lawyers into partnership. So Lord Goldsmith, who remains a leading light at Debevoise, is back at the Bar.
