Grounds for Hope: Daniel Johnson on European anti-Semitism
Standpoint editor Daniel Johnson has responded to Michel Gurfinkel's claim — made on Mosaic, an online magazine dedicated to Jewish issues and ideas — that anti-Semitism is on the rise and European Judaism is not as healthy as it looks.
In "Grounds for Hope", Johnson argues that though public authorities in Europe routinely turn a blind eye to anti-Semitism, Jewish communities are not in terminal decline and more and more leaders are now aware of the threats they face.
