READER COMPETITION: WIN TICKETS TO THE INAUGURAL STANDPOINT SALON

On Monday, June 17, we are hosting the first in a series of Standpoint Salons at Hardy's Brasserie in Marylebone, London. Tickets to the event, where our editor Daniel Johnson, Jesse Norman MP, Douglas Murray and others will discuss "Conservatism: From Burke to Boris" over drinks and dinner, have sold out.

However, two tickets, worth £50 each, have been set aside for the winner of our "Civilisation cocktail" competition. The challenge, which we the Standpoint editorial team have nobly ducked, is to express in liquid form the values of Western civilisation this magazine exists to defend. The winning recipe will be served at the start of the evening.
