We need your help and support
We need your help and support.
The October issue is looking very strong — we will have extensive coverage of the US elections from Andrew Stuttaford, Tim Montgomerie and our editor Daniel Johnson, analysis from Frank Field, Douglas Murray and others on Brexit. We will be publishing a new short story by Joseph Epstein, once described as the wittiest man alive. Paul Johnson will be sharing his recollections of Clement Attlee. Our regulars, including Maureen Lipman, Norman Lebrecht, Anne McElvoy and Tim Congdon will offer their topical insights.
While we are gaining subscribers month by month and our news stand sales have never been higher, we nonetheless need your support to cover the costs of producing a magazine filled with the best writing out there each and every month.
The print bill for each issue of Standpoint is roughly £12,000 – and we are reaching out to our readers to ask to help fund our October issue. Contributions should be made as donations to the Social Affairs Unit, the registered charity that publishes Standpoint and Gift Aid can be applied.
Standpoint has been going for eight years — we could not have survived without the generous support of donors large and small.
