Why isn't Auntie reporting Aunty?
This piece of deft reporting from the Standard won't be receiving the attention the BBC lavished on the Tamil Tiger supporters demonstrating on Parliament Square. The Tigers seem to have a lock on several Labour councillors and some MPs. Which is presumably why people displaying the Tiger banner are being allowed to demonstrate at a cost so far to the Met/tax payer of £8 million, notwithstanding the LTTE being banned as a terrorist organisation by the EU,US and UK. The Observer also published on Sunday a good investigation into the Tigers cynical use of child soldiers.
