Although Grieve is a cold fish, and a barrister to boot - a species somewhat lower than woodlice in my world view - I liked the sound of his talk tonight down at the higher education dump in the Mile End Road where the Krays were allegedly considered as honorary fellows as prominent local businessmen.
But how much of this will be translated into policy when they come to power? Multi-culti has been infiltrated into so many nooks of our institutional fabric that it will take years to root it out. They can start with stopping the automatic translation of official documents by local councils. Encouraging linguistic apartheid is outrageous. The Chinese in Britain pay for their own translators. That is the way it should be.
